A\nNIGERIAN GENIUS in the field of technology, ADEBAYO ALONGE has\nemerged winner in the 2019 BNP Paribas Group Deep Tech competition\nthrough the remarkable apps he created called ‘Nanoscanners’ that\ndetect fake drugs. <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alonge\nhas made the country proud by winning the 2019 BNP Paribas Group Deep\nTech Prize for inventing handheld nanoscanners that can detect fake\ndrugs. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Naija\nStandard<\/strong><\/em>gathers\nthe award, under the umbrella of ‘Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge’,\nis a renowned global startup competition designed specifically to\naddress the needs of deeptech entrepreneurs across several different\nindustries and technologies. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Hello\nTomorrow Global Challenge’ gives scientists, deeptech entrepreneurs\nfrom across the world a platform for their research and projects, by\nproviding equity-free prize money as well as other funding\nopportunities, global visibility and connections with key players in\nthe deeptech innovation network. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alonge\nwho was emotional while receiving the award, said: “Thank you so\nmuch. It’s been a long journey personally for me, from the 15 years\nwhen I was surviving from a fake drug to standing today in front of\nyou here and letting you to be in my dream and the dream of my\nco-founders to make sure that most of people are safe from fake\nmedicines.” \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
