His story is that of a young man\nwho believes in short route to acquiring wealth, irrespective of\nvarious crimes he may have committed before he attain his aim. <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nigeria&#8217;s\nNo. 1 anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial\nCrimes Commission has written Visa Inc. and Mastercard Inc. to demand\nfor lucid details on credit cards used by musician, Naira Marley.The\ncommission said the cards recovered from the artiste during his\narrest were used for alleged identity theft and credit card fraud.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Going\nby reported court documents  the EFCC\u2019s letters to Visa and\nMastercard \u2013 titled, \u2018Investigation Activities\u2019 \u2013 were dated\nMay 13, 2019, three days after it arrested Naira Marley.The\nletters were signed by the Zonal Head, EFCC, Lagos, Dein Whyte.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\nreads: \u201cThe commission is\ninvestigating a case of identity theft and electronic cards-related\nfraud in which the listed card information were recovered during\ninvestigation,\u201d EFCC\u2019s letter to Visa and Mastercard partly read.\nIn the letter to Visa, the\ncommission asked the company to provide information about the last\nfive transactions on each of three Visa cards recovered from Naira\nMarley. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u201cThe\nfirst card with number 4921819410257431 was issued by Lloyds Bank Plc\nand bears the name Timea Fedorne Tatar.The\nsecond card with number 4539782440624281 was issued by Barclays Bank\nPlc and bears the name Nicole Louise Maylon, while the third card\nwith number 4757147207869807 was issued by Santander UK Plc and bears\nthe name Sharon Broad. Likewise, in the EFCC\u2019s letter to\nMastercard, the commission asked the company to furnish it with\ninformation about the last five transactions on a Mastercard card\nrecovered from the musician. The card with number 5354631405139323\nwas issued by Prepay Technologies Ltd and bears the name Linh H.\nMendez Rojas.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Naira\nMarley was arrested on May 10 at 9 Gbangbala Street, Ikate, Lekki,\nLagos, together with Omomniyi Temidayo (aka Zlatan Ibile) and three\nothers for alleged advance fee fraud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following\nhis arrest, the anti-graft agency filed an 11-count against Naira\nMarley.The\ncharges with suit number FHC\/L\/178C\/19 were filed before a Lagos\nState High Court.
