HE’S\nA NIGERIAN MAN WHO HAS NO LEGITIMATE SOURCE OF LIVELIHOOD BUT PREFERS\nTO LIVE ON A FAST LANE AS THE EASY WAY OUT. HAMMED AKINOLA AND HIS\nCRIME-PARTNER, JAMES CAMPBELL HAVE BEEN ARRESTED, TRIED and sent to\nvarious jail terms in Houston, Texas\nfor their involvement of $10million housing scam. <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Akinola has been sentenced to prison for what investigators in\nTexas call a $10 million scam over funds meant for title companies to\nclose on homes. Prosecutors\nsay Campbell was sentenced Tuesday to 7\u00bd years in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\n53-year-old Campbell was convicted of conspiracy to commit wire fraud\nin thefts since 2016. A\nfederal judge in Houston earlier sentenced Hammed Akinola to 15 years\nfor conviction in the same international fraud case linked to about\n45 victims and bogus requests for payment. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investigators\nsay the victims thought they were sending money to title companies to\nclose on homes.
