He is the\nProducer and General Manager, Ogunde Music and Films Limited having\ngraduated at the prestigious  MiddleseX  University, Hendon, UK (1977\nto 1980) where he studied  Sociologie Politique. In this interactive\nchat with GEORGE ELIJAH OTUMU, AMERICA Foreign Bureau Chief (Naija\nStandard Newspaper), Bayo openly talked about his intimate\nrelationship with his father, last moment with him, his legacy and\nhow he conceptualized Nigeria National Troupe&#8230; <\/strong><\/em>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Naija\nStandard: What are\nsome of the fond memories you have of your father, Nigeria&#8217;s greatest\ncultural legend, Chief Hubert Ogunde? <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fond\nmemories of daddy are many. Back in the &#8217;60s when I was schooling in\nIbadan, daddy used to take me with him while touring the then Western\nNigeria. Also in the &#8217;70s, my siblings and I performed with him on\nstage in plays like; Kehin S&#8217;okun, Keep Nigeria One, Onimoto e.t.c.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Naija\nStandard: Can you recall some nostalgic times that you remember of\nyour father? The fact failed to sink in for perhaps a couple of days. We had artistes from all over Nigeria residing in\nour home town of Ososa via Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State and doing all\nrehearsals in Ogunde Estate. The cultural rainbow I witnessed was\nsomething to behold so much so up till today I still mimic my dad&#8217;s\nvoice while singing his recorded songs. The generation that\npatronized dad&#8217;s music, plays and films are fading fast.
