Economically, socially, and especially environmentally\nthey are agents of achieving these. So these are enough reason to\nsupport them all the way. Tradition\nplays a strong part of why, poverty, lack of schools within their\nvicinities . But now Nigeria has no choice but to support the growth\nof the Girl-Child. By giving her sound education and skills\ndevelopment which is key to today and tomorrow\u2019s world. By ensuring\nall schools in the communities are developed by the relevant\nagencies, teachers are trained and given good incentives, parents are\neither employed or empowered. local NGOs to be directly involved in\nsupporting the agenda of educating and empowering the Girl-Child. <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Naija\nStandard Newspaper:  How do you think the Girl-child in Nigeria would\nnot be discriminated against in every sphere of life? <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Education\nand awareness of the boys and fathers are very important to avoid\ndiscrimination against the Girl-Child. Because for anyone to be a great leader they\nmust be connected to the grassroot. So three things Education,\nMentorship, Unity. Women should work together as a unit to produce\nfemale leaders. <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Naija\nStandard Newspaper:  What steps do you think it will take to have\nenough women occupy various leadership position so as to guide in\ngreat policy formulation? <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Well,\nI think Nigerian women are vibrant and have evolved. Their ability to\ndeliver on missions is sterling. So the same way they have succeeded\nin capturing the business sector , we have women heading financial\ninstitutions, boards and their own business, the same zeal could be\nput in place to ensure a group or groups Educated and exposed to\nguide great policy formulation. <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Naija\nStandard Newspaper:  You have done greatly for women in Africa. Can\nyou mention some of your evergreen accomplishments in assisting women\nin the African continent? <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Through\nmentorship which is key to the development of women in Africa, access\nto employment and empowerment. She was interested in\nfirewood business. I informed her I will give her a loan with no\ninterest but she should determine the date of payback. Three months\nlater she returned the money as promised. Which was later plowed back\ninto her business. We have seen it in Ethopia, we have seen the strength of\nthe women in Sudan.
