They probably must have forgot that only GOD gives Life, no man has the audacity or right under any given circumstance to take someone else&#8217;s life. <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Boko Haram Infiltrates Fulani Herdsmen Ring, Invades Southern Nigeria<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Few weeks ago, desperate to hug global headlines, creates terror incursion into South East and South South Nigeria, heartbeat of trades and economy of Nigeria, Boko Haram, the notorious deadly Islamic Sect sensing that Nigerian Army had dislodged them almost completely from Sambisa Forest played up the ethnic and tribal card as the dangerous terror group, under the cover of darkness secretly held meetings with leaders of Fulani Herdsmen from Nasarawa and Katsina State in a village located in Toto Local Government. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">These notorious leaders were allegedly handed out huge sums of money to perpetuate massive destruction in Enugu State. After the supposed Fulani Herdsmen caused havoc to human and properties in Enugu State, around 1:00am few days ago, they invaded <span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\">Ukpabi Nimbo community in Uzo-Uwani local government area of Enugu state where they killed innocent people, raped under-age girls\/women<\/span><\/span> 48 in numbers and set buildings on fire. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The captured Christians begged for their lives, they killed them without conscience, little children cried-they used their sharpened cutlasses to hack them to death. Rape underage girls and women, killed them after their heinous act. When some men in the village tried to defend their families, they used cutlasses to inflict wound on their bodies, set them ablaze, while they shots many girls and women arrows from their handy-bows. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\">As a result of the attack, Christ Holy Catholic Church, Odozi-Obodo, at Onu-Eke was burnt,eleven houses were confirmed razed. The incidence led the natives to flee to neighboring communities of Nkpologu and Uvuru, even as Nkpologu natives fled to Nsukka in fear of attacks. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\">Confirming the incident, Ebere Amaraizu, the police public relations officer said that a combined team of police and army have moved to the area. At the weekend, the Fulani herdsmen imported about 500 others from Nasarawa state to help launch the attack on the community. Reacting to the development, stakeholders from the local government held a meeting where they tried to find solutions to the increased attacks by herdsmen on communities. In the last six months, over 15 people were kidnapped and several women from the area were raped. In all, 48 Ibo men, women, underage girls, toddlers were murdered in their homes. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><b>Enugu State Governor Weeps, Calls for Prayers to God for Divine Intervention<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #222222;\">Corroborating this development, Cornell Onwubuya, the chairman of the Transition Committee in Uzo-Uwani local government area, alerted Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and the state commissioner of police on the development. During the emergency meeting in Enugu, Onwubuya also alerted the leaders of the Fulani community in the state and stakeholders from Uzo-Uwani. According to him, the meeting was convened to address the allegation that herdsmen planned to import about 500 of their tribesmen to enable them invade some communities in the area. Onwubuya noted that local leaders of the Fulani community also confirmed that there were attempts to bring in mercenaries for the attack on the communities. He added that the Fulani leaders in the state had earlier complained that some of their people were killed within the axis of Ukpabi Nimbo and Abbi communities in the recent past. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #222222;\">Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi summoned emergency meeting of the State Security Meeting which lasted few hours behind closed doors with attendance of the Police, Army and State Security Service in attendance. Governor Ugwuanyi barked out orders to heads of the security agencies present to be proactive and do all necessary to stall this Fulani Herdsmen bad omen attack. But these heads of security operatives took turn to tell the incumbent governor that Nigeria is not a police state where governor could give out orders, but they would rather take orders from their various boss in Abuja, the nation&#8217;s seat of power. The security operatives did nothing. They gave no orders to their subordinates, until the Fulani Herdsmen openly wrecked unprecedented havoc and destruction on Ukpabi Nimbo community. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #222222;\">Meanwhile, the Government House was fully covered by armed security personnel, in a shoot-manner ready to prevent any intruder. After the whole war-like confusion had subsided, and Fulani Herdsmen escaped through bushes, Governor Ugwuanyi visited the community the following day. And when he saw how toddlers were curbed to death, underage girls, women and men sliced with cutlass, then burnt alive, he wept like a baby, calling on God for divine prayers to save Enugu State and heal the land of evil. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><b>Nigeria Police Complicity: Police Chief Secret Plot to Exonerate Fulani Herdsmen Exposed<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\">Our correspondent gathered that when earlier security reports and intelligence gathering reached the desk of Nigeria&#8217;s Police Inspector General (IGP), Solomon Arase on the identities of Nasarawa and Katsina States youths as bulk of the Fulani Herdsmen planning to allegedly carry out destruction in Benue and Enugu States, he had dismissed it off purposely to retain his plum job as he is being paid N711, 498 per month and N8,537, 976Million Annually. A reliable security source in Louis Edet House, Shehu Shagari Way, Central Area, Abuja who would not want his name published since he is not authorized to speak claimed Arase was acting out a script with main intent to exonerate the Fulani Herdsmen from any indictment or crime in the genocide. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\">His words: \u201cMillions of Nigerians and foreigners Abroad don&#8217;t know that lots of sensitive and classified intelligence reports are being made daily available to Nigeria&#8217;s IGP, who only chose which one to adopt, discard or shred off. Our IGP knows that so many top police officers are eying his job. He could be sacked or fired anytime by President Muhammadu Buhari. <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #1c2022;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\">Section <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\">215 Sub-section 1a of the 1999 Constitution says that &#8216;an <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"> Inspector-General of Police who, subject to section 216(2) of this Constitution shall be appointed by the President on the advice of the Nigeria Police Council from among serving members of the Nigeria Police Force<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #1c2022;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\">.&#8217; And since IGP knows that Nasarawa and Katsina States youths are the fulcrum of the Fulani Herdsmen causing havoc in Enugu with primary purpose to overrun South East and South South, in order to keep his job safe, he had to enures these Fulani youths are never indicted of any crime. That was why the State Commissioner of police lied to Nigerians that the massacre was caused by some hoodlums fighting other hoodlums. Without mincing words, he lambasted the embattled administration of the incumbent while speaking at the National Conference on Culture and Tourism, on Wednesday. Soyinka said regretted why the government is yet to provide an articulate plan to tackle the menace.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><em><span style=\"color: #000033;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">He said: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><em><span style=\"color: #000033;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u201c<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><em><span style=\"color: #000033;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">I have yet to hear this government articulate a firm policy of non-tolerance for the serial massacres that have become the nation\u2019s identification stamp.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><em><span style=\"color: #000033;\">\u201c<\/span><\/em><em><span style=\"color: #000033;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">I have not heard an order given that any cattle herders caught with sophisticated firearms be instantly disarmed, arrested, placed on trial, and his cattle confiscated. Cattle ranches were being set up, and in another 18 months, rustlings, destruction of livelihood and killings from herdsmen would be \u2018a thing of the past\u2019. 18 months, he assured the nation.
