HE WAS A FAMOUS FACE ON CABLES NEWS NETWORK, CNN. DON LEMON, a cerebral broadcaster ‘fired’ unceremoniously from CNN is yet to recover from the shock of the humiliation. Barely a few days ago, Don confessed he had been on antidepressants after he was dumped from CNN. The former news anchor, 58, was ditched from the network last summer and has also had his new show axed from Elon Musk\u2019s X, and has now opened up about how he was put on the pills under medical supervision in the wake of his first sacking.
He told actress Tamron Hall, 53, in an interview on her show: \u201cI have suffered from depression. I take an antidepressant now.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


\u201cIt helped me get through the summer after\u2026 being fired. I do talk therapy now, but my doctor has also done guided therapy with me on drugs.\u201d
Don last week announced Tesla billionaire Elon, 52, abruptly ditched his new show on X after he interviewed the tech mogul as his first guest, with the entrepreneur reportedly upset about how it went.
He announced on X: \u201c(Elon) informed me of his decision hours after an interview I conducted with him.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


Don also told Tamron about a report he was dumped from X after he issued a list of demands to Elon, saying it was \u201can obvious distraction\u201d and \u201cnot true\u201d.
A document obtained by The New York Post showed Don asked for an $8 million salary, a Cybertruck and equity and veto power over the sites\u2019 news policies, among other requests \u2013 but his agent and a spokesperson strongly denied the demands were true.
Tamron described it all as part of a business move during her chat with Don, and joked she would\u2019ve asked for \u201ca fleet of Teslas\u201d if she had been negotiating with the billionaire.
She added: \u201cClosed mouths don\u2019t get fed.\u201d
Don replied: \u201cBut here\u2019s the thing, you\u2019re right. When people negotiate all the time-and maybe they\u2019re not used to talent negotiations.
\u201cI\u2019m not saying that any of that\u2019s true. But people ask for a lot of things. That doesn\u2019t mean you\u2019re going to get it. If you don\u2019t ask, you\u2019re not going to get it.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
