\"Fake<\/a>HE is known in London and the entire Irish community in Dublin as a ‘Prophet of style’, driving ultra-modern vehicles, living-so-large being the shepherd of Global Light Revival Ministries, a huge congregation of African natives with few British in attendance. At the age of 28 years, he seems to have money, fame draw his attention. Welcome to the world of Pastor Eric Isaiah Adusah, a smooth-talking ‘Man of God’ originally from Ghana who deliberately caused the death of Charmaine Speirs, his 3-month pregnant during their stay in a-5 star hotel in Ghana.<\/p>\n

CNN iReport<\/b><\/i> investigation showed that Eric earlier had some misunderstanding with his late wife, while both were in London. He had later told his wife he would be traveling to Ghana to attend a compulsory christian crusade. The deceased had insisted that as his wife they should both travel to Ghana, a request that was declined vehemently by Eric. After much persuasions, he allowed Charmaine to travel to Ghana alone ahead of him and stayed with Bishop Yaw Adu, the Spiritual father of the accused in Koforidua. Charmaine traveled, which was her last trip outside of the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

Few days later, Eric arrived Ghana from London, drove down to house of his Spiritual father, Yaw, argued with his wife repeatedly and they both checked into a-5star hotel at Mac Dic Royal Plaza Hotel in Koforidua, in the Eastern Region. He is alleged by the hotel staffers to have caused the death of his wife by running away from the hotel after 24 hours of lodging in the hotel. The hotel manager raised alarm and pronto Eric was apprehended.<\/p>\n

A Magistrates\u2019 Court in Accra on turned down a request put in by Eric has been accused of murdering his wife. Pastor Adusah contended that he had not set his eyes on the body of his wife currently deposited at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital Morgue.<\/p>\n

According to the Pastor, besides, the deceased\u2019s relations have been calling him to bring the body home. His words: \u201cIt\u2019s my humble plea to be given the opportunity to take the body of my wife home to her family,\u201d the Pastor said while in the dock.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Court presided over by Worlanyo Kotoku declined saying whether it was too early to release the body to him and urged Pastor Adusah to exercise restraint. According to the Judge, the full report of the autopsy was not ready.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Prosecutor has told the Court that when the docket was sent to the Attorney General\u2019s Department, the investigator was instructed to take statements from witnesses and text messages exchanged between the accused and the deceased.<\/p>\n

According to the Prosecutor, all the text messages and statements had since been forwarded to the AG, adding that, by the next adjourned date the full autopsy report would be ready.<\/p>\n

Pastor Adusah, who was facing a provisional charge of murder, has been granted GH\u20a1200,000.00 bail, with one surety to be justified by the Human Rights Court. The Magistrate Court has since preserved his plea.<\/p>\n

The Prosecution contends that Pastor Adusah, between March 18 and March 20, 2015, at Mac Dic Royal Plaza Hotel in Koforidua in the Eastern Region, allegedly caused the death of Ms Speirs by unlawful harm.<\/p>\n

According to the Prosecution, Pastor Adusah is a Ghanaian by birth but resident in the UK with his wife, the deceased, and that the couple got married in September 2014 in the UK after a whirlwind romance.<\/p>\n

Prosecution said in February this year, the deceased, who was about three months pregnant, was to travel to Ghana together with the accused, but she came ahead of him and stayed with Bishop Yaw Adu, the Spiritual father of the accused in Koforidua.<\/p>\n

The Prosecutor said in the first week of March this year, Pastor Adusah also arrived in the country and that on March 16, both the accused and the deceased lodged at the Mac Dic Royal Plaza Hotel in Koforidua.<\/p>\n

According to the Prosecutor, in the early hours of March 18, this year, the accused checked out and traveled to the UK, whiles the deceased was billed to check out on March 20, this year.<\/p>\n

The Prosecutor averred that, at the front desk of the hotel, Pastor Adusah had instructed management not to disturb the deceased because she was observing fasting and prayers in her room and needed a quiet time until she checked out on Friday March 20.<\/p>\n

Prosecution said on the day Ms Speirs was expected to check out, nothing was heard of her and the hotel\u2019s management became suspicious.<\/p>\n

The Prosecutor said the management then used a spare key to gain access to the room, whereupon, they found the lifeless body of the deceased in a decomposed state in a bathtub, with blood oozing from her nose.<\/p>\n

According to the Prosecution, the condition of the body clearly showed that Ms Speirs died a couple of days earlier, a situation that raised their suspicion.<\/p>\n

The Police said their investigations showed that no one else entered the room after Pastor Adusah had left.<\/p>\n

The Regional CID, Koforidua, was informed and the body was removed and deposited at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital awaiting autopsy.<\/p>\n

Prosecution said the Homicide Unit of the Ghana Police Service took over the investigations and on March 20, Bishop Yaw Adu informed the accused of the death of his wife.<\/p>\n

The Prosecutor said on March 22, Pastor Adusah arrived in Ghana and reported himself to the Police Regional CID, Koforidua, and he was arrested. He however denied knowledge of the offence during interrogation.<\/p>\n

Linda Speirs, mother of the deceased lashed out at Eric as a liar, her words: \u201cI strongly believe Eric lied to me on the circumstances surrounding the death of Charmaine-my daughter. I received a phone call earlier on Charmaine’s death. I wept profusely because Eric never told me the truth. Our family members are looking into this matter.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n

Meanwhile, Eric’s lawyer is insisting Charmaine died of heroine abuse in her hotel room. He reportedly said; \u201cMy client is innocent of this crime. I can assure you that our client’s wife died of excessive heroine abuse in her hotel room.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Pastor ‘Settles Corrupt Judges’, Secures Traveling Permission Abroad<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

CNN iReport<\/i> undercover investigation showed that Eric being originally a Ghanaian allegedly ‘settles’ some judges by way of under-hand dealings to have got a another judgment which led to the return of his traveling document to him, so he could travel abroad. <\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n
