<\/a><\/b><\/p>\nIT was party mood all the way in Beverly Hills, the Hollywood Zone in Los Angeles where the round of eight contestants displayed their melodious singing gifts, as each one of them take time to \u2018electrify\u2019 the crowd and win higher points from the American Idol judges who seems to be enjoying every bit of the competition.<\/p>\n
At yesterday night, there were only eight\u00a0contestants\u00a0left in the competition on \u201cAmerican Idol<\/b>\u201d and you know it\u2019s heating up! Left at this stage are Angie Miller, Burnell Taylor, Devin Velez, Janelle Arthur, Kree Harrison, Amber Holcomb, Lazaro Arbos and Candice Glover. Last week, we saw the\u00a0elimination\u00a0of Paul Jolley.<\/p>\n

In case you\u2019ve missed the elimination\u00a0episode of the show,\u00a0our Correspondent who was in the event live wish to inform you that after his\u00a0elimination, Jolley spoke of his journey on the show and the advice that the judges imparted upon him.<\/p>\n

The show makes its return to FOX at 8PM EST tonight, Wednesday, March 27, 2013. The theme for this particular episode is songs from Motor City. This basically means that\u00a0the top\u00a0eight performers will take on songs such as \u201cWhat\u2019s Going On\u201d by Marvin Gaye, \u201cI Want You Back\u201d by The\u00a0Jackson\u00a05 and \u201cWhere Did Our Love Go\u201d by The Supremes. Yay for Motown favorites!<\/p>\n

Next up is a country twist on \u201cLike A Prayer\u201d by Madonna from Kree Harrison and Janelle Arthur. Ugh. Nicki commented that Kree flew in to do a duet with an\u00a0Idol<\/i>contestant. She wasn\u2019t trying as hard and she sounded like butter.<\/p>\n
Lazaro Arbos<\/b>\u00a0is up next\u00a0looking for\u00a0some redemption with the Stevie Wondertrack\u00a0\u201cFor Once In My Life.\u201d Can he do better than last week\u2019s performance? Much better!<\/p>\n
Janelle Arthur<\/b>\u00a0is up next\u00a0singing\u00a0\u201cYou Keep Me Hangin\u2019 On\u201d by The Supremes. Boring and forgettable.<\/p>\n
Devin Velez<\/b>\u00a0is up next\u00a0singing\u00a0his version of \u201cThe Tracks Of My Tears\u201d by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles. It was decent, but behind the beat.<\/p>\n
Candice, Angie and Amber are\u00a0singing\u00a0\u201cI\u2019m Gonna Make You Love Me\u201d by The Supremes. Not bad! What is Angie wearing?!?<\/p>\n
