\u00a0<\/b>GBENGA Kuye, Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, (RCCG) House on Rock, Grand Prairie, Texas, United States-a sound attorney is a man of God with no iota of lies or pretense, since he preaches the words of God and practices the same simultaneously. From his inspiring sermon last Palm Sunday titled \u2018The Cross as a Serious Matter\u2019; he explained that \u201cMany children of God are betraying the master through their lifestyles and ways of behavior.\u201d<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Understanding is the Key to Success<\/b><\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
Kuye told the congregation that since the memory verse of the sermon was taken from Galatians 2 verse 20, he asked that \u201cCan we love Christ so much that we cannot follow after his pious lifestyle?\u201d His words: \u201cMany Christians prefer troubles to peace that Christ gives. Many today continue to live with armed robbers, chaos and crisis to Christ. That was why even after Pilate said he found no sin in Jesus, and he asked the people if Jesus were to be released to them; the people echoed that they preferred and wanted Barabbas (Robbers) to be given to them. Barabbas represents the kingdom of Darkness. Jesus was not in the world to set up any human government because history is replete as in John 18 verse 37 that Christ is the way, the truth and the life.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

\u2018Many are betraying God on the altar of Fame, Money & Power\u2019<\/b><\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Sounding so serious, Kuye stated that many children of God are betraying God on the choice of their lifestyles, mannerism and behavior. Today, many captains and officers are in the Devil\u2019s army. Many are slapping Christ by being antagonistic-working against the gospel through their ungodly behaviors. He said: \u201cMany Christians are still apostles of Satan by being vociferous against the work of God. Peter, the only disciple left had denied Christ three times as prophesied. There were 12 disciples in all. The question is: where are the other 10 minus Christ? Many believers today were neither Jesus nor Peter or Judas. For this reason no one dare name his child \u2018Judas\u2019. Many children of God today are \u2018Chameleonic\u2019 through their lukewarm attitude by being neither cold nor hot in God\u2019s kingdom or Satan\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n
Warning to Christians<\/b><\/p>\n
Kuye emphasized a warning to believers by saying \u201cDon\u2019t ever move with crowd. As stated in the book of Proverbs: never follow crowd to do evil or things that would be a disservice to Christ\u2019s representation.\u201d<\/p>\n

He ended his sermon by saying \u201cGod is asking us who we want to choose today? We should insist that we want to witness the power of Christ\u2019s resurrection in our lives.
