TRUTH\nHAS EMERGED ON HOW FAMOUS CHICAGI BORN ‘EMPIRE’ movie star, JUSSIE\nSMOLLETT allegedly paid two Nigerian brothers, AMBIMBOLA ‘OLA’ AND\nOLABINJO ‘BINJO’ OSUNDAIRO the sum of $3,5000 to stage-manage a fake\nattack on him. <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For\nthese two Nigerians, who\nare cooperating with police investigating the alleged hoax attack,\nthey reportedly told detectives that they did a practice run days\nbefore it happened. Smollett had claimed that the assailants ‘yelled\nout racial and homophobic slurs’ as they tied a rope around his neck\nand poured an unknown substance that he suspected was bleach on him.\nSources say that the brothers told authorities they had bought the\nitems used in the attack at Jussie’s direction. Smollett’s attorneys,\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Empire\nstar Jussie Smollett and the two Nigerian brothers he is accused of\npaying $3,500 to attack him allegedly rehearsed the assault\nbeforehand, a new report claims.\nAbimbola\n‘Abel’ and Olabinjo ‘Ola’ Osundairo, who are cooperating with police\ninvestigating the alleged hoax attack on January 29, reportedly told\ndetectives that the 2am attack was supposed to happen earlier and\nthat they did a practice run beforehand. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sources\nsaid one of the brothers put a rope around Smollett’s neck and poured\nbleach over him while the other wore a red hat and yelled racist and\nhomophobic slurs at him. The brothers, who reportedly had a\nrelationship with Smollett and were extras on Empire, told\nauthorities they had bought the items used in the attack at the\nactor’s direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abel\nand Ola were arrested Wednesday on suspicion of assault but were\nreleased from policy custody Friday evening after investigators said\n‘new evidence’ had emerged in their interrogations that requires\nfurther detective work. When\nasked whether Smollett is officially considered a suspect in light of\nthe new information, the Chicago Police Department told TMZ: ‘We have\nsome information that needs to be corroborated and verified with the\nEmpire cast member before we can answer this question.\n‘After\nnew developments, we’ve reached out to his attorney and requested\nadditional time to interview him.’ Smollett\nhas furiously denied claims that he orchestrated the assault and said\n‘nothing could be further from the truth’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For\nSmollett had told police that on January 29, two assailants tied a\nrope around his neck and poured an unknown chemical substance on him\nwhile yelling ‘Empire f****t’ and ‘Empire n*****’ at him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\nnarrative, however, is now under serious scrutiny by investigators,\nwho reportedly have evidence that Smollett directed his ‘attackers’\nto buy the rope used in the ‘assault’ at a local hardware store.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Documents\nprove two Nigerian brothers, who work as extras on the highly rated\nFox drama, bought the rope which was found around Smollett\u2019s neck\nat Crafty Beaver Hardware Store in Chicago.\nSources\nsaid that the brothers used Smollett’s money when they made the\npurchase on the weekend of January 25. They\nalso bought two red plain hats that they wore during the alleged\nattack, according to sources close to the investigation.\nPolice\nbelieve that the red hats were purchased at a local beauty supply\nstore in the Uptown section of Chicago. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘We\ncan confirm that the information received from the individuals\nquestioned by police earlier in the Empire case has in fact shifted\nthe trajectory of the investigation,’ Chicago Police spokesperson\nAnthony Guglielmi said. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘We\u2019ve\nreached out to the Empire cast member\u2019s attorney to request a\nfollow-up interview.’Chicago police are now \u2018eager to speak to\nJussie Smollett\u2019 in light of the new information that was\nuncovered, according to ABC\nNews<\/a>.\n\u2018We\nhave been in touch with Smollett’s attorneys,\u2019 a Chicago Police\nDepartment spokesperson said.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lawyers\nTodd S. Pugh and Victor P. Henderson issued the following statement\non Jussie’s behalf on Saturday night: ‘As a victim of a hate crime\nwho has cooperated with the police investigation, Jussie Smollett is\nangered and devastated by recent reports that the perpetrators are\nindividuals he is familiar with. He has now been further victimized\nby claims attributed to these alleged perpetrators that Jussie played\na role in his own attack. Nothing is further from the truth and\nanyone claiming otherwise is lying.<\/strong> \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘One of\nthese purported suspects was Jussie\u2019s personal trainer who he hired\nto ready him physically for a music video. It is impossible to\nbelieve that this person could have played a role in the crime\nagainst Jussie or would falsely claim Jussie\u2019s complicity.<\/strong>\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Jussie\nand his attorneys anticipate being further updated by the Chicago\nPolice Department on the status of the investigation and will\ncontinue to cooperate.
