SHE REMAINS A HUGE INSPIRATION TO LOTS OF LIVES IN\nABIA STATE. Madam Margaret Umunna Edeyi, famously known as &#8216;Maggi&#8217;\ndue to her positive impact on humanity has passed on to the land of\nthe saints where Angels worship the Sovereignty of God daily. <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>She\nwas a devout Christian and community leader from Umuokogbuo Eluama in\nIsuikwuato, Abia State. Maggie, as she was fondly called, died on\nWednesday morning, March 13, 2019, in Warri, Delta State, aged around\n90 years.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>She\nis survived by five children, among them Isaac Umunna, an\naward-winning international journalist and Publisher of <em>News\nExpress <\/em>titles. Maggie is also survived by several grandchildren\nand great grandchildren, as well as a host of relatives.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Paying\ntribute to the departed matriarch, Isaac Umunna said: \u201cMama was a\nvirtuous woman known for her devotion to God, her family and\nhumanity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<strong>Though\nshe became widowed at a rather young age, she remained chaste for the\nrest of her life. She didn\u2019t go to school but did everything within\nher power to ensure that her children did.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<strong>Mama\nwas a quintessential wife and mother.
