He is never\nashamed of his &#8216;root&#8217;, even at the height of his boxing career. No\nwonder he is seen as the &#8216;Boxing Hero of Texas&#8217;. EFE AJAGBA, a 25\nyear old Nigerian pugilist with a moniker &#8216;The One And Only&#8217; in Texas\nhas fought 10 serious competition, won all on knockouts without any\nloss. <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ajagba,\na<\/strong>\ngold and bronze medalist in the 2015 African Games and 2014\nCommonwealth Games has\nrisen to the top of his boxing professional career. And just\nyesterday, this boxer with a weight of 200lbs(90.91kg) defied all\nodds at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, when\nhe humiliated and beat silly  German Michael Wallisch in the second\nround to improve his 10-0 wins. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For\nthe records, Ajagba\ntook up the sport of boxing in 2011 after previously playing football\nfor a club in Ughelli, Delta state in 2005.\nHe\nwas coached by Anthony Konyegwachie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ajagba\nwas selected to compete for the Nigerian team in the 2014\nCommonwealth Games that held in Glasgow. He competed in the Super\nheavyweight division to defeat Junior Fa of Tonga  in the round of 16\nand Paul Schafer of South Africa in the quarterfinals. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ajagba\nadvanced to the semifinals where he was defeated by Joseph Goodall of\nAustralia, meaning Ajagba won a bronze medal. At the 2015 African\nGames held in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo. Due\nto his sterling performance, he was selected as Nigerian entrant in\nthe men&#8217;s heavyweight event.  He won the gold medal, beating Keddy\nAngnes of the Seychelles by a score 3\u20130 in the final. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In\n2016,  he won the gold medal in the super heavyweight event at the\n<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2016_African_Boxing_Olympic_Qualification_Tournament\">African\nBoxing Olympic Qualification Tournament<\/a>held\nin <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Yaound\u00e9\">Yaound\u00e9<\/a>,\nCameroon.
