FROM all indications, fraudsters\u2019 technology and desperation to dupe innocent members of the public (there would be victims) through deceit has gone viral. And they will do anything and play any prank in their \u2018crook books\u2019 to defraud their innocent victims. Our reporter’s undercover investigation showed that these criminals are indigenes of Ghana, Nigeria and India.<\/p>\n

Fraudsters Latest $ 3.2m Scam<\/b><\/p>\n
In an electronic mail our Editors received, these criminals wrote in from an email: sangamuang@un.org<\/a>, with a reference to one of their accomplices: edward_mekong@consultant.com<\/a> with a deceitful letter which stated that innocent victims had won a compensation payment of $3.2m just to \u2018trap\u2019 the person. Their unedited fake letter written in grammatical errors read: \u201cThis message is based on the meeting which the United Nations (UN), European Union, African Union, American Union and Asia held in London United Kingdom as Our 2013 Compensation Payment to you regarding your expenses which you made in 2012 for failed Transactions like Contract Fund, Bank transfer, Lottery Fund transfer and inheritance fund.<\/p>\n

\u201cAccording to the International Monetary Funds Agency (I.M.F), they discovered that your payment has been unnecessarily delayed by corrupt officials of the Banks And Legal Attorneys who are Trying to divert your money into their private accounts, and we want to use this opportunity to inform you that some of this fraudsters has been curbed and their account has been also frozen, regarding to the meeting held, all the money that was recovered from their account must be used to compensate the victims and that is why you are receiving this message. This is to fight crime and corruption\/fraud globally and you are advice not to fall into their hands any more.<\/p>\n
