EMBATTLED\nGENERAL OVERSEER of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA, and\nSenior Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo is obviously facing much higher\ntrouble than envisaged in his on-going alleged rape saga involving\nBukola Dakolo, the wife of a top Nigerian music star, Timi. Crack\ndetectives from the Nigeria Police Force Criminal Investigation\nDepartment (FCID), Abuja have stepped up thorough combing of any\nactivity relating to the ‘man-of-God’ involvement in the rape\nallegation. <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Detectives\nfrom FCID investigating the alleged rape against Fatoyinbo,\nWednesday, conducted a search on the residence and office of the\nembattled pastor in Abuja, even as\nas Daily Sun, exclusively gathered that the Police have seized the\ninternational passport of Fatoyinbo, as part of the bail conditions\ngranted to the pastor.\nFatoyinbo\nwas also made to provide two level 16,officers with landed property\nin Abuja, before he was allowed to be taken on bail.He\nis, however, told to be reporting to the FCID, on a daily basis until\ninvestigation is concluded. The COZA pastor, who attended another\nround of interrogation Wednesday, has been released to go home at the\ntime of filing this report.A\nsource told Daily Sun that part of the investigation that took place\non Wednesday was a search on the home of the pastor and his office by\ndetectives.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According\nto source, \u201cthe home of the pastor and his office were searched\ntoday by detectives investigating the matter, but I cannot tell you\nwhat they found. But definitely, they were looking for incriminating\ndocuments and other evidences that were revealed by witnesses during\nthe discreet investigation conducted in the matter.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAlso\npart of the bail conditions given to pastor Fatoyinbo is that he\nprovides two level 16 officers who have landed property in Abuja, and\nthat his international passport to be deposited with the police which\nhe has done,\u201d the source said. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile,\ninformation reaching Naija\nStandard Newspaper<\/strong><\/em>\nconfirmed that several members of the congregation are now leaving\nCOZA church in droves. Speaking with Toyin Olowojoba, an Usher in the\nsanctuary, she said: \u201cPastor Biodun Fatoyinbo is a disgrace to the\nChristian community and a huge stain to the body of Jesus Christ. How\ncould he commit such a tragedy, yet feigning innocence. Many of us\nhave been watching our General Overseer’s actions and at this point\nfelt, he had lied. We are leaving\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For\nKemi Johnson, a choir member in the church, this is a very sad time\nfor COZA: \u201cHow can he absolve himself when many of us know he is\nvery close to most female members, whether single or married.
