DEATH HAS OCCURRED OF PRINCE ROGERS, 57, America’s greatest Rock Musician, an Icon, a Legend who battled various illness in past weeks before his last music show in Atlanta where the crowd made for an encore. But not many ever knew that this multi-instrumentalist had been living mostly on excess of opiate drugs for his energetic rehearsals, non-stop eclectic, energy-sapping open air concerts and song inspiration which made him push extra-mile beyond his normal strength just to keep fit to honour all other shows around the world. But few days ago, after been rushed to the hospital in Prince’s private jet in an emergency landing in Moline, Illinois hours after he performed in Atlanta, the team of medical experts emphasized that Prince had to be placed on bed rest for 24 hours so that periodically they can always monitor his health.

After been on hospital admission for three hours, Prince’s band group against medical doctor’s diagnostic insisted they need to leave and have some rest. Pronto, Prince was discharged . According to TMZ, Prince was treated for a drug overdose 6 days before his death .

Prince’s private jet made an emergency landing in Moline, Illinois last Friday, hours after he performed in Atlanta. At the time his reps said he was battling the flu … something we questioned because his plane was only 48 minutes from home before the unscheduled landing.

Multiple sources reveal that Prince was rushed to a hospital and doctors gave him a “save shot” … typically administered to counteract the effects of an opiate. Our sources further say doctors advised Prince to stay in the hospital for 24 hours. His people demanded a private room, and when they were told that wasn’t possible … Prince and co. decided to bail. The singer was released 3 hours after arriving and flew home.

We’re told when Prince left he “was not doing well.”

We know authorities in Minnesota are trying to get the hospital records from Moline to help determine cause of his death.

We have made more than a dozen attempts to reach Prince’s reps for comment, but they went radio silent.

President Barack Obama called Prince a “creative icon” with a strong spirit as he offered prayers after the musician’s unexpected death Thursday.

“Today, the world lost a creative icon,” Obama said in a statement. “Michelle and I join millions of fans from around the world in mourning the sudden death of Prince.”

He continued, “Few artists have influenced the sound and trajectory of popular music more distinctly, or touched quite so many people with their talent. As one of the most gifted and prolific musicians of our time, Prince did it all. Funk. R&B. Rock and roll. He was a virtuoso instrumentalist, a brilliant bandleader, and an electrifying performer.”

Obama also cited the musician’s own words.

“‘A strong spirit transcends rules,’ Prince once said — and nobody’s spirit was stronger, bolder, or more creative,” Obama said. “Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, his band, and all who loved him.‎”

The term opiates is sometimes used for close relatives of opium such as codeine, morphine and heroin, while the term opioids is used for the entire class of drugs including synthetic opiates such as Oxycontin. But the most commonly used term is opiates

Although very useful to treat pain, these drugs can cause physical dependency and addiction. According to the National Institute of Drug Abuse between 26.4 and 36 million people worldwide abuse opioids.

Certain illegal drugs, such as heroin, are also opiates. Methadone is an opiate that is often prescribed to treat pain, but may also be used to treat withdrawal symptoms in people who have become addicted to opiates.

If you stop or decrease the amount of opiates you’re taking, you may experience physical symptoms of withdrawal. This is especially true if you’ve been using these medications at high doses for more than a few weeks. Many systems in your body are altered when you take large amounts of opiates for a long time. Withdrawal effects occur because it takes time for your body to adjust to no longer having opiates in your system.

Won 14 Awards, 21 Nominations-Grammy,Oscar, Academy and Others

This music maestro who had won 14 Awards, 21 Nominations-Grammy,Oscar, Academy and Others had planned to perform in some other lined-up shows throughout this year would surely be sad that death had taken away his hobby, which is performing, choreographing and playing various instruments to satisfy his music wizardry.
