In the keenly contested award category, Chimezie earned 10 Million votes, Hannen 5 Million Votes, Ara 3 Million and Azeezat 2 Million polls respectively. According to Roberts Chukwuemeka Ilozi, Chairman, Naija Standard Media Group Award Committee, who also doubles as ‘Member, Advisory Board of Naija Standard Newspaper Inc USA’, he told Naija Standard that “ We considered so many factors for this unique award, based on acceptability by majority of Nigerians abroad through vote-polls; how the artiste is re-branding the image of Nigeria Overseas; Positive efforts undertaken by the artiste to re-brand and popularize Nigeria’s music/movie(Nollywood) through the continous celebration of Nigeria’s Cultural Values among other factors.
