PALPABLE fear is now gripping most Nigerians resident abroad over the coming 2015 Presidential Election holding by next month (February). The ominous sign reflecting in Nigeria’s political firmament is daily generating tension, uncertainty and hitting up the polity. Worse of all, various actions and reactions by different players in the on-going battle for Aso Rock, Nigeria’s seat of power has further brought about an-unending bleak as Nigerians queue to vote in leaders of their choice. Various views, contrary opinions are being deliberated by Nigerians resident overseas, bearing in mind that they are still ‘stakeholders’ as originally ‘Nigerians’ and having their family relations still in the country. Prayers are being said daily, weekly and weekends in Churches, Mosques to prevent ‘war’ or cessation of the country; which will do no one no-good.

For Thompson Obiora, an undergraduate of University of Wisconsin, he expressed fear on the outcome of whoever emerges president between President Goodluck Jonathon, incumbent and General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd). His words: “If Buhari emerges President, Jonathan (his cabinet ministers) may be probed. In same manner, former Nigeria’s Niger Delta militant, Asari Dokubo repeated that Jonathan has already won the election, when he reportedly echoed: “I have said it before severally. Jonathan has already won the 2015 Presidential Election, if he is manipulated out of the race, or someone else emerges, Nigeria will be on fire. The nation will burn.”

‘Boko Haram Steps up Plans to Bomb the North 24 hours after Election’-INVESTIGATION
Further investigation by Naija Standard revealed that Boko Haram may have concluded clandestine plans to unleash mayhem on hapless and innocent Nigerians in the North 24 hours before or after the 2015 Presidential Election. Confirming this shocking discovery, one Nuhu Aliru, resident in Yobe told our correspondent how he overheard in Hausa language few young men, stern and dreadful-looking how Boko Haram would over-run Northern Nigeria. His words: “It was in an open field in Yobe where I had gone to unwind. I overheard a group of fearful-looking young men in their late 20s; early 30s saying they are aware Boko Haram will overrun Nigeria and turn it upside down before and immediately after the election. I was very scared. I walked away quickly and ran for my dear life.”
