PLANS by BILLIONAIRE Chairman of Chrome oil, Sir Emeka Offor who recently splashed out the sum of over N100 million on his wedding to 28 year old barrister Adara Ofondu, daughter of Alexander Okey Ofondu, a wealthy Onitsha trader to have the presence of Donald Trump, United States 45th President-elect in the funeral of his father was met with a cold shoulder. As it was discovered that the invite of Offor to Trump was never in the latter’s itinerary for the week.
Reliable sources in Trump Towers, luxurious home of Trump in New York stated that America’s President-elect had been busy hosting foreign world leaders, putting final plans in his cabinet membership and preparing to roll out his 100 days plan for American people after on official resumption by mid January next year.
His words: ‘Donald Trump, billionaire President-elect of United States had never received any invite from Nigeria’s Emeka Offor regarding the burial of his father. Trump is very busy all day-long. He had been busy hosting foreign world leaders, putting final plans in his cabinet membership and preparing to roll out his 100 days plan for American people after on official resumption by mid January next year.”
This position seems contrary to earlier position of Offor few weeks ago, where he claimed “Burial of my late father, Chief Benneth Owudiegwu Offor (Nnakaibeya), who died of late. The burial rites commenced on November 17, 2016. who would be committed to Mother Earth Today Friday, November 18.”
But this time around, Offor has successfully buried his father today Friday in an imported gold casket at the ripe age of 88. An eye-witness account confirmed that Offor spent millions of dollars in father’s burial with dollar-rain in the event. He imported a customized casket from Overseas. Offor buried his father at All Saint Anglican Church, Irefi Oraifite, Anambra, today.
Sir Emeka remembers his father as a man who gave him much encouragement and inspiration.
Chief Benneth died on February 11, 2016. He was 88 years old. His funeral service held on today at the All Saints Anglican Church, Irefi, Oraifite in Anambra State.
