FOR the very first time, Nigerians and Africans in the Diasporas are set to witness the unveiling of the major collaboration of Innocent Idibia (Tuface) and Whizkid, two of Nigeria’s multiple award-wining musicians in a huge entertainment open-air concert headline by Hennessy titled ‘Hennessy Artistry 2014’, which premiered on October 2, 2014.
According to the organizers, these elated musicians are at the final stage of concluding the recording session of this single which is going to be a ‘hit’-being a commercial music that would be danceable, enjoyable and celebrate the trade mark of Hennessy, the brand.
The two-some had been in-and-out of the studio severally and are now putting finishing touches to their first ever collaboration which will also serve as theme song for the Hennessy Artistry 2014.
Naija Standard learnt that the two star-artistes have had several sessions at the Urban Vision studio where they listened to five various beats sent in from some of the biggest music producers in the industry.
As at today, out of the five beats that were sent in, Tuface and Whizkid had selected one for recording and the single is currently in the final stages of production.
In Tuface words, he reportedly said: “It’s final now… we have found our groove…”
Reno Omokri, the special asatnisst to the president on New Media sent out a series of tweets to discuss almost all the issues and bring some clarity to the bad press this week.
