THIS Friday, November 15, 2013 looks set for service of worship as Grammy-nominated gospel singer Bryon Cage set to lead ‘Night of Worship’ in Lagos this Friday at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
This all-night worship that would bring down the glory of God has created a lot of excitement in Byron as he looks forward to joining thousands of worshippers at the JoshuaVille ‘Night of Worship’. JoshuaVille is the Young Professionals arm of City of David, Redeemed Christian Church of God.
His words: “I am excited to join the children of God in the heart of Africa this Friday to worship and to back in His presence,” Cage said in a statement issued today. “I can’t wait to be at the JoshuaVille and to share the time with these songs that have given us all strength, faith, hope and connected us to the Kingdom of our father.”
Cage is one of the award-winning artistes headlining the 5th edition of the programme, an annual gathering where people from various ethnicities and denominations gather for an all-night worship encounter. Other international performers are Shana Wilson and Sonnie Badu. This year is themed ‘The indescribable God’.
With seven albums under his belt, with hit singles such as ‘Great and Mighty’, Cage continues to lead Christians across the world in worship – snatching a Grammy nomination in 2006 for New Gospel Album of the Year with ‘An Invitation to Worship’.
Night of Worship 2013 holds this Friday, 15 November from 10pm till dawn at Promise Land opposite City Of David, CoD church road, off Ligali Ayorinde, Victoria Island, Lagos. Other ministers at the event include BeeJay The Voices in Zion, The Sounds of Heaven and The Psalmists.
