HER name is Thelma Nzekwe, a top Nigerian model who before now made the nation proud in several billboards jobs and runway shows outside the shores of Nigeria. Certainly, she is beautiful. After several years of consolidating on her success, she has just floated her own firm strictly centered on celebrating concept development in Nigeria. Her firm has been able to make giant in-roads into the corridors of power in Nigeria on business development projects. In this exclusive online interview with LAURETTA VICTOR, she speaks on her growing success, challenges and other projects in the pipeline.
Kindly take us through all the services your firm offers?
A Mathel concept is a Nigeria based company with bias for manufacturers’ representative, concept development, human resources development, business consultancy and general contract.
What exactly do you mean by manufacturers’ representative?
We represent individual and organizational interest by promoting their products/services/properties. Thus, regardless of our clients’ location whether within the country or outside the country, we serve as the link to their anticipated customers or clients. We are the team needed in achieving that business goal as we deliver result based services through our deep knowledge of the Nigerian market, terrain and people. We are target driven as we focus on achieving targets that make our clients successful.
How about the concept development issue?
We diligently organize, actualize our clients’ idea and our ever-ready, professional thereby committed in ensuring our personnel serve as the team needed in actualizing that creative idea. We are the go-between in business, social or political form of concept for either less/large establishment or government institution.
So, shed more lights on the Human Resource Development case
We interface with government and private institutions in managing and developing these great resources through human development programs. We design and organize bespoke programs that address issues affecting the development of our human resource. We also offer training, workshop and seminars for both staff of private and government establishment, condescending on issues that challenge them in their jobs as well as empowering them for their personal and organizational growth. It is done to ensuring sustainable development of our great nation.
How old is your firm?
Our firm is a young, vibrant and fast growing company that is three years in old.
What’s the most challenging job your firm has done in terms of project?
Quit a good number of projects but our most challenging project is the Nigeria @50 project which we did for the Nigerian youth under the knowledge of the Nigerian government.
We would like you to tell us more about yourself
I am a Nigerian and indigene of Imo state. I am a graduate of University of Abuja, a seasoned entrepreneur and the C.E.O of Mathel Concepts. Of my personality, I am simple, reserved, focused and determined. I am just who I am, just me. No pretense.
But, are you married now?
Why do you want to know? I am still waiting prayerfully for the right man because I would not like to make any mistake. For sure, God would guide me through.
What is your dream of your ideal man?
My dream man must be educated and God fearing.
What is the most treasurable part of your body?
My brain is the most treasurable part of my body.
