'We Didn't Vote Buhari Best Nigerian to
Lead Us'

OLUSEGUN Obasanjo, an ex- president in Africa's most
populous nation (Nigeria) has stated that Nigerian populace did
not vote for President Muhammadu Buhari as the best person
whom the cap fit to lead the nation into a land flowing with milk
and economic prosperity. And that the choice of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GEJ) was
never considered a 'good option.'
OBJ, as famously called decided to put the record straight in view of the obvious economic
situation Nigerians are made to face daily. Obasanjo known as a man who does not cherish
beating about the bush, said through his Twitter handle @SegunObasanjo that Nigerians
have no regret to have voted GEJ out of power.
His words: “We didn't vote PMB because he's the best Nigerian to lead us. We voted him
because Jonathan was not an option and we don't regret it #FeBuhari.”
There are lots of divided opinions on the posture presently taken by OBJ, as rumor is agog
that the face-off and enmity between Obasanjo and GEJ may not be unconnected to
their last minute soured relationship while the latter was in power then as Nigeria's president.
