HIS NAME IS KABIR OLANIRAN, a Nigerian born medical doctor, regarded the ‘Most Famous Kidney, Sickle Cell’ specialist in various fora, circle and medical institutions in the United States of America. This soft-spoken M.D., M.P.H., an Assistant Professor in the Division of Nephrology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, is one of the greatest expert in kidney disease and dialysis.
Dr. Olaniran earned his medical degree at the University of Lagos in Nigeria. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Lincoln Medical Center in the Bronx, New York, and then received advanced training in nephrology through a fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He also holds a master’s degree in public health from Harvard University.
