HE has done it again. He has shattered the glass ceilings. He has written the name of Africa’s most populous black nation in the world boldly in the art of entertainment. BURNA Boy is his stage name. His real names are DAMINI EBUNOLUWA OGULU, a recipient of Nigeria’s national merit award, Member of the Order of the Federal Republic, MFR. His hot album “No Sign of Weakness” trending globally has won him three North America Africa’s Golden Music Awards in Texas, having received an overwhelming 16 million votes from Africans in the Diaspora, who shared in his vision, had belief in his inspirational messages and identify with his Afro fusion brand of music.

Burna Boy becomes one of Africa’s music legends of all time, and the most decorated musician from the continent of Africa, after he emerged winner: North America Africa’s Best Singer, North America Africa’s Most Creative Songwriter & North America Africa’s Iconic Music Producer Hall of Fame 2025 holder.
In a fierce competition which took the NSN AWARD COMMITTEE Executive, the body which discreetly flew three times from Dallas Forth Worth, DFW Airport to 10 African countries namely: South Africa, Morocco, Liberia; Tanzania, Somalia, Ghana, Senegal; Nigeria, Abidjan and Kenya to speak to Africans on ground and created a voice-vote platform for these millions of Diaspora Africans to vote in their choice of a musician deserving to receive the American Golden Music Awards in celebration of the just concluded 14th Year Media Anniversary of Naija Standard Newspaper Inc USA, an officially certified media establishment registered by the Government of the State of Texas and simultaneously registered by the Corporate Affairs commission, CAC, in Abuja, Nigeria.

This process lasted for close to a period of 12 months. Musicians voted for include South Africa’s TYLA, Liberia’s JZyNo, Kenyan’s Bien-Aimé Baraza (Bien); Senegal’s Sahad, Ghana’s Black Sherif, Somali’s Saalax Sanaag; Morocco’s El Grande Toto, Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz and Abidjan’s Coupé-Décalé and Nigeria’s Burna Boy.
Votes began to come in gradually. At the end of the collation, based on empirical data analytics and analysis conducted by the NSN AWARD COMMITTEE Executive, TYLA received 1,600,000 votes, JZyNo had 185,000 votes, Bien-Aimé Baraza received 295,000 votes; BURNA BOY’S NO SIGN OF WEAKNESS HOTTEST HIT had 16,555,950 votes, Sahad received 744,900 votes, Black Sherif had 1, 759, 920 votes, Saalax Sanaag got 920,000 votes; El Grande Toto received 420,534 votes, Diamond Platnumz received 651,698 votes and Coupé-Décalé had 1,287,300 votes.

Burna Boy emerged winner ‘NORTH AMERICA AFRICA’S BEST SINGER, MOST CREATIVE SONGWRITER & ICONIC RECORD PRODUCER HALL OF FAME AWARD OF THE YEAR 2025’.
This means BURNA BOY is to be officially presented 3 American Golden Awards, namely:
