ONE OF THE FOREMOST AND LONGEST KEYBOARDISTS to Nigeria’s Music Legend, King Sunny Ade, Charles Bamidele Adesanmi renowned to have traveled around the world, played in several shows and concerts have been found in Texas driving UBER Car for survival, to keep body and soul together.
This chanced encounter last week with Charles happened in the Arlington area of Texas where he allegedly pick passengers on a door-to-door basis in a 12-hour shift to keep his economic empowerment in place.
Upon sighting me, he was quick to say: “George, I heard you are a famous journalist from Nigeria. You may look me up in Google since I was King Sunny Ade’s longest keyboardist ever. I have traveled, around the world, played shows with the Juju Music Icon. I am just driving this UBER to keep body and soul together.”
The once celebrated successful musician at KSA Organization, worked for 4U Multimedia Studio in America and studied Electrical/Electronic Engineering at Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos.
Further attempts were made to speak with Charles on an elaborative interview regarding his experience while at KSA band and how he migrated to the United States, but he is yet to respond as at press time.
INVESTIGATION conducted by our reporter showed that this ace musician is a godly man who loves the Lord, regularly worship and attends regular Sunday school services in Texas.
