NIGERIAN Community in the Republic of South Africa are presently mourning the demise of a famous ‘Man-of-God’, Pastor Mike of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement shot dead while allegedly commanding one of the armed robbers to drop his gun.
Eye witness around said Pastor Mike shouted when confronted by the armed robbers, by saying: “In Jesus’ Name, Drop Your Gun!” – but The Bullets Came Instead.
The report said that the pastor was preaching to a group of Nigerians in Johannesburg when an armed robber stormed the area, demanding valuables.
In a bid to confront the assailant through faith, the pastor reportedly declared:
“I command you in the name of Jesus, drop that gun and repent!”
Instead of surrendering, the gunman fired multiple shots at close range, killing the pastor instantly before escaping with stolen items.

The brutal murder has sparked outrage and sorrow among Nigerian communities in South Africa, many of whom believe that targeted attacks on Nigerians have been on the rise.

South African authorities have launched an investigation into the killing, while the Nigerian community is calling for better protection from violent crimes.
