PAMELA UBA is a highly celebrated South African born lady to Nigerian parents who Naturalized to become an Irish. She is a renowned scientist and has made history to become the first Nigerian, African, Black to have won Miss Ireland Queen 2021 after 74 years of the pageant’s contest. Recently. She is now set to represent Ireland in the Miss World beauty title.
Uba was crowned Miss Ireland 2021 this month and has raised money for educational support for children in direct provision. She played Gaelic football as a center back. She is a Gaelic Athletic Association fan, supporting her home country of Mayo.
This model born in 1995 moved from Johannesburg to Ireland with her family as an asylum seeker when she was 8 years old. Uba spent 10 years in direct provision.
She has since raised money for educational support for children in direct provision. Uba played Gaelic football as a center back. She is a Gaelic Athletic Association fan, supporting her home country of Mayo.
Uba earned her undergraduate degree in medical science at Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology, before graduating with a Master’s degree in clinical chemistry from Trinity College, Dublin. She works as a medical scientist at University Hospital Galway.
