A new threat has been issued by Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, a senior member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts against the United States and Isreal should any harm any harm hit the Supreme leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei. In a terrifying escalation of rhetoric, he threatened a conditional declaration of ‘Global Jihad’.
The statement explicitly warns that if Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is targeted in any way, the “highest Shiite authorities” will mobilize followers worldwide for unrestricted holy war.
This threat appears to be a direct response to the rumors of U.S. and Israeli “decapitation strikes” aimed at the regime’s leadership following Tehran’s 24-hour nuclear breakout claim.
