IBIKUNLE Olanrewaju John, General Overseer of ‘The Way of Joy Church’, a white garment church in Egbe, a suburb of Lagos, South West Nigeria has yet brought a disrepute on Christendom, as recent facts have revealed him as General Overseer of ‘armed robbers’. True, lies can run for ages, one day, truth would expose the secrets.
Lagos State Police Parades the fake General Overseer
Naija Standard correspondent witnessed that it came as a rude shock to officers of Lagos State Police Command regarding this latest antics of armed robbers. Lagos State Police Command paraded seven suspects of a robbery gang that attacked the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos last month.
His confession
Ibikunle confessed that his share of the loot was N500, 000, but later discovered to have lied. A further attestation to this claim was the discovery that Pastor Ibikunle bought two cars apparently from his share of the loot, two weeks after the Murtala Muhammed International robbery attack.
After his arrest while dedicating the exotic cars on the altar during Sunday Service, his white garment church was sealed, while his wife took her children and ‘vanished’ into thin air from the church to avoid shame of her ‘supposed fake Man-of-God,’ who now told police that he was tempted of the Devil. Policemen believe he is a member of a robbery gang.
Before his arrest, Pastor Ibikunle was said to have dedicated two vehicles, during which he hosted members of his church and friends to a buffet.
