THIS IS A DIFFICULT TIME FOR NIGERIA’S Entertainer, KORRI OBIDI, based in Las Vegas, United States, as the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) denied the American Naturalization application of the musician based on ‘abandonment’, a few days ago. This latest development had made the ever-lively controversial artist very sad.
It will be recalled that Korri had a messy divorce after her earlier marriage to Dr. Justin Dean, an American to whom she had two daughters: Athena and June. Not willing to stay single again, this Delta-born woman secretly re-married to a second husband and hid his identity away from the prying eyes of the press.
Corroborating her latest American Immigration status on Instagram late Thursday night, wearing a sad look, she revealed she was denied her American citizenship by USCIS. Her words: “I have just received a letter from USCIS saying I abandoned my application, and they denied my Naturalization application of becoming an American. I am going to look for a good lawyer to help me open the immigration case and write to U.S Immigration”.
